The PUC establishes a rate and service structure that all regulated movers must adhere to for intra-state moves. Intra-state moves are moves that are transiting from one Hawaiian island to another. The rate structure is based on a weight basis per 100 pounds. The rate does not include the price of the material used to pack your household goods in.

When shipping your goods intra-island, extra care is needed during packing, as your goods will be handled more frequently. Once the goods are packed and loaded in their shipping container, those goods will be shipped via ocean barge or commercial aircraft. At their destination another licensed PUC mover for delivery to your new residence will pick them up.
