Hawaii moving company Royal Hawaiian Movers teams up with Habitat for Humanity in West Hawaii in support of their ReStore program. With the help of appliance and furniture donations by the Outrigger Royal Sea Cliff and the Four Seasons Resorts in Kona, underprivileged families will be given the opportunity to start over and build their lives in a new home.
The ReStore program itself is considered to be an essential part of Habitat for Humanity in West Hawaii. With their acceptance of donated goods, the ReStore is able to re-sells items to the general public at a fraction of their retail price. As if that were not great enough… ALL of the proceeds from this re-sell program will help local Habitat affiliates fund the construction of Habitat homes within their local communities.
As expressed on Habitat for Humanity West Hawaii’s Current Happenings page, “Royal Hawaiian Movers was instrumental in the pick-up, delivery and unloading of the containers. We couldn’t have gotten these donations to our ReStore without the support of General Manager Kyle Joaquin and his team at Royal Hawaiian Movers.”
