Whale Watching on Maui

The first sighting of the return of the humpbacks to the Hawaiian Islands took place off of Maui on October 20, 2012. Humpback whales migrate to Hawai’i on an annual basis during the winter months to mate and give birth. The sighting serves as a reminder of the upcoming whale season, which traditionally runs from November through May. Peak whale watching months are typically January through March. Helping out at the Kona Christmas Parade

On Saturday, December 15th, 13 members of the Royal Hawaiian Movers (RHM)/Approved Freight Forwarders (AFF) family participated in the 28th Annual Kailua-Kona Community Christmas Parade  in partnership with the Food Basket and Rotary club in a food drive. The Food Basket is an island wide, supplemental food network that collects and distributes nutritious, high quality food to low income households, the working poor, the disabled, the ill, senior citizens, and children. Hyatt Resort Project in Maui (2012)

Hyatt Hotels and Starwood Capital have joined together to mark the expansion of Hyatt’s Andaz brand into the resort market.  This resort, which is scheduled to be completed by late 2012,  is expected to feature 35 suites and 255 guest rooms in total (ranging from 456 to 2,321 square-feet).  As if this were not lavish enough, this new Maui resort will contain 6-four-bedroom extravagant villas measuring approximately 3,500 square-feet a piece! Kona Mover Supports Lokahi on the Big Island

On Friday, December 2nd, 2011, Kona moving company Royal Hawaiian Movers took part in a media event for the Lokahi Project on the Big Island.  For decades, the Lokahi project has been providing Hawaii’s struggling families with life’s basic necessities (linens, toiletries, cleaning products, non-perishable food, etc.). This Holiday Season, Kona mover Royal Hawaiian Movers, graciously volunteered vehicles and storage for food and toy donations.  They also collected over 70 live Christmas trees and various furniture items to be distributed to less fortunate households across the Big Island.
