Royal Hawaiian Movers in Kona had the privilege of participating at this year’s Kona Marathon and Family Runs. Royal Hawaiian Movers provided trucks and manpower to ensure the events ran smoothly for the organizers. A big fun part of this event is the Keiki Run where kids from the ages of 1 through 15 can participate in their own marathons respectively. Royal Hawaiian Movers recently participated in a career fair put on by Rotary Club of Honolulu in a partnership with the Susannah Wesley Community Center (SWCC). The SWCC is a multi-service community and social service center that has provided much needed programs and services to the residents of Kalihi-Palama for over 100 years. The career fair is for high school dropout students who are in the process of completing or have completed the Competency-Based High School Diploma Program (CBHSDP). On Saturday, December 15th, 13 members of the Royal Hawaiian Movers (RHM)/Approved Freight Forwarders (AFF) family participated in the 28th Annual Kailua-Kona Community Christmas Parade in partnership with the Food Basket and Rotary club in a food drive. The Food Basket is an island wide, supplemental food network that collects and distributes nutritious, high quality food to low income households, the working poor, the disabled, the ill, senior citizens, and children.
